Method
In a medium-sized heavy saucepan, bring the cream to the boil with the cloves.
Remove from the heat, cover the saucepan, and allow the mixture to infuse for 15 minutes.
The flavor of the cloves should come through clearly.
If not, allow to infuse for a few minutes longer.
