Method

  • Wash the rice in cold running water until the water runs clear.
  • Drain rice.
  • In a medium-sized heavy saucepan, place washed rice with coconut milk, whole milk, sugar, and salt.
  • Over medium heat, cook the rice for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
