Backyard Burger Buns

I’m not the type to bake every day, or even every week. But when I have the time, I love making my own burger buns. Most breads you buy in the store have some level of preservatives to keep them soft. Maybe your local bakery has good sourdough without all that stuff. But what are the chances they make burger buns? Around me, it’s just not that common. And that’s a shame because fresh buns can really elevate a burger.
