Whenever there’s ground turkey involved in a recipe, it’s a callback to weight loss for me. At first, when I started eating ground turkey, I wasn’t a fan. Then, I learned a lot by cooking it over the course of a few years (yes, years). Eventually, I came around to it. I learned turkey is generally going to be drier than ground beef because there’s less fat, but proper seasoning can solve some of that.
