Lemon-Lime Funnel Cakes

I’ve loved a good funnel cake all my life. My mom often made them from scratch, and I often wondered how she made them. As adults, years ago, my wife and I started a tradition of stopping at any fair we see and buying a funnel cake. Nothing keeps us from a funnel cake (we once stopped to grab one on the way home from a seven-course dinner)!
