50g (1¾oz) peeled and chopped raw beetroot (beets)
½apple, cored and chopped
¼cucumber, peeled and chopped
1tablespoonlemon juice
1 small handful chopped flat-leaf (Italian) parsley
80ml (2½fl oz/⅓cup) water
Method
Just put all the ingredients in the blender for these smoothies and blitz until smooth. These are quite thick smoothies so add asplash of water or more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
