On our first day in Havana, Marty and I visited friends who had cacao trees growing in their garden. This encouraged me to learn more about the history of chocolate in Cuba, and the chocolate museum at La Casa de La Cruz Verde, a Spanish colonial house in old Havana became one of my favorite places in Cuba.
