  • About

Pulled pork made in a slow cooker has to be one of the easiest recipes ever! Bung it all in, sit back, and in a few hours’ time you’ll be tucking into tender, rich, delicious pork. Pile this slow-cooked, melt-in-the-mouth pork onto bread rolls for the ultimate sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 400 g tin baked beans
  • 3 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 tsp

Method

  1. Put the baked beans, tomato purée, spices, orange juice and onion into a slow cooker with some freshly ground black pepper. Add 5 tablespoons of cold water and stir well.
  2. Add the pork steaks to the slow cooker and turn several times in the sauce until well coated. Cover and cook on low for 8–10 hours or high for 4–5 hours until the pork is very tender.
