  • About

Fast food has given hamburgers a bad name but in fact they are a healthy and delicious meal for both adults and children as long as they are made with good-quality meat. If you prefer to avoid beef, try the tuna burgers.

Ingredients

  • 600 g good-quality minced beef, including 20-30 per cent fat
  • 160 g tomato ketchup
  • 40

Method

Mix the mince to ensure that the fat is evenly distributed throughout it, then season with salt and pepper. Mould it into 6 balls and shape it either with a burger press, if you have one, or simply by pressing it into a pastry cutter set on a board. Then put the hamburgers into the fridge to firm up before cooking. Whisk together the tomato ketchup and American mustard for the sauce.
