When I moved to the U.S. in 1998, I had my first bagel, and for a while, really through all of my years cooking at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, I didn’t really care for them. As I get older, I like them more and more. Now I think a good fresh bagel that’s toasted and buttered is fantastic. and, every now and again a bagel sandwich like this really hits the spot. As far as bacon goes, I like mine crispy and not swimming in grease.
