I grew up eating Yorkshire pudding every Sunday. It’s a very british and scottish thing to serve with sunday roast and my mother was good at making it. The roast, which was usually roast beef and occasionally lamb, might have been overcooked, who’s to say, but the yorkshire pudding never was. You can put herbs in these, use different types of flours for them, or add mustard but I usually don’t. To me, yorkshire pudding is like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It’s best kept simple.
