Spirulina gives these protein-packed power balls their incredible colour, and while they may look as if they should be served at a Halloween party they are naturally sweet and moreish. If you make your own nut milk then use some of the soaked nuts in place of the dried ones.

Ingredients

  • 110 g/4 oz/1 cup porridge (rolled) oats
  • 75

Method

  1. Add the porridge oats and nuts to a food processor and blitz until finely chopped. Add the apricots and sunflower seeds and blitz again briefly until roughly chopped.
  2. Spoon in the cashew butter, maple syrup, sea salad, if using, hemp and spirulina powder then add the orange juice. Blitz again until the mixture begins to clump together then add the milk and mix
