These power balls store well in the refrigerator or freezer. Simply take out as many as you need in the morning and they should be defrosted by mid-morning for a healthy nutrient-boosting snack.


  • 110 g/4 oz/1 cup buckwheat flakes

  1. Add the buckwheat flakes and almonds to a food processor and blitz until finely ground.
  2. Add the almond butter, sunflower seeds and dried fruits then spoon in the orange juice. Blitz briefly until the mixture just begins to clump together and the dried fruits are still in chunky pieces.
