Blueberries are a great source of immune-boosting vitamin C and vitamin K and are packed with cancer-fighting antioxidants along with the mineral manganese which helps process cholesterol, carbohydrates, protein and phenolic compounds. No wonder they are often called a superfood.


  • 100 g/ oz/¾ cups porridge (rolled) oats

  1. Add the oats and cashew nut pieces to a food processor and blitz until very finely chopped.
  2. Spoon in the protein powder, chia seeds and cashew butter. Add the blueberries, lemon zest and juice and acai powder if using. Blitz together until the blueberries are finely chopped and the mixture is beginning to clump together.
