Method

2 litres ( pt or 9 U.S. cups) Chicken Consommé lightly thickened with tapioca.

Garnish

Serve separately, 6 mm (¼ in) thick slices of long thin French bread covered domeshape with a mixture made of reduced Sauce Béchamel and grated cheese seasoned with Cayenne and gratinated a few moments before being required.
