Ingredients

  • 2-3 tablespoonssyrupy jam (currant, cranberry or strawberry)
  • 2-4 tablespoonshoney

Method

Mix the jam and honey together and heat without bringing to the boil. Add the ground spices and make a thick dough by mixing with the crumbs and the remaining ingredients. Knead well, spread on a baking sheet to the thickness of about 1 cm (½ in) and dry out in a turned-off oven. Cut up when still warm and add icing.
