    This is an adaptation of a recipe developed by Linda B. Ebert, manager of the housing and food services test kitchen at Pennsylvania State University. She believes that it closely resembles the original secret recipe, and it tastes pretty ranchy to me. (Besides dressing salads with it, I sometimes use it in place of mayonnaise on sandwiches.)
