Ingredients: Top the pie with slightly softened vanilla ice cream to make a snowy coverlet. Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired. Freeze at least 1 hour before serving. Cut in wedges. If you have chocolate or other sweet dessert sauce in the refrigerator, pass it for pouring over dessert.; Chill a 9" pie pan in freezer about 10 minutes. Set a pint carton of chocolate ice cream on the kitchen counter to soften during this 10 minutes. Spoon the slightly softened ice cream smoothly on bottom and sides of chilled pie pan to make pie shell. Return to freezer to freeze firm. Then spread slightly softened strawberry ice cream in chocolate ice cream pie shell. Return to freezer to freeze firm.
