Ingredients

  • 1 lb soft unsalted butter
  • Big splash of booze of choice, such as whiskey, vermouth, sherry, port, Pernod, or Grand Marnier

Method

Using a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a bowl with a spatula, mix together all of the ingredients until airy and combined.

Spoon the butter onto a large sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap, roll into a log, twist the ends to seal, and refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
