  • 10 fl oz (300 ml) milk
  • 5 oz (150

Method

Bring all the ingredients except the cream to the boil in a saucepan. Cover and simmer gently on top of the stove or in an ovenproof dish in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove the onion and add the cream before serving.
