Floyd’s Barbecued Lamb with Meyer Lemon Sauce

I’m quite proud of this simple little dish, created entirely on the spur of the moment from an abundance of glorious ingredients offered to me by our genial hosts at the Iron Horse Vineyard in Sonoma County. Its special flavour comes from the Meyer lemons – little Californian delights which are a sort of cross between a lemon and a tangerine.
