We drove along the drab coastal strip out of Málaga looking for this restaurant that they said was third on the right, not far along. After an hour and a half of one-way systems, unfinished fly-overs and dual carriageways that ended abruptly in a mountain of road-building materials, in a hot little car (why don’t Spanish hire cars have air conditioning, it is a bloody hot country after all), tempers were overheating.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, we finally found the restaurant
