Here is something you will be able to make only if you bring back the magic ingredient from Mexico (or get someone to send it to you). But it is so delicious that I include it anyhow. You may know of mezcal, the potent liquor made in Oaxaca from a kind of maguey or agave (a close cousin of the Jaliscan blue maguey that produces tequila).
