This dish resembles an Asian-style vegetarian dish we used to eat at a vegetarian temple in Kuala Lumpur, reminding me of my childhood. But, while there are similarities, at the temple they used a nonya curry sauce rather than a dressing. Italian-style noodles and balsamic vinegar combine with several Asian elements to give it a distinctive feel. By the way, any time you are out of meat jus, oyster sauce is a great substitute.
