Every Chinese village traditionally has its particular style of fun kwor depending on ingredients—meat or vegetables. I remember Grandmother making this style for her own birthday. She was the head chef and organiser of the family and she always bad a brigade of several daughters and daughters-in-law as well as cousins, friends and neighbours to help out when the big preparation day came around.
