  • About

Driving south from Lima, after about 160km/100 miles you will see street vendors at petrol stations or in town squares selling dried pumpkin shells. These are not empty, but full of the most representative sweet of the province of Chincha: frejol colado. Flavoured with sesame seeds and with just the right degree of sweetness, it is a treat that every visitor wants to take back home.
