  • About

Many Peruvian sweets have amusing or charming names that describe their appearance, such as ‘little handkerchiefs’ and ‘flying saucers’ and these delicious caramel-filled fried pastries are called ‘chicken necks’. They are sold in bakeries and at street stalls. Crisp and light, they can be served as a dessert or as a snack with a cup of tea or coffee.
