  • About

A quartre-quarts cake is the French equivalent of an English pound cake in which the ingredients all have the same weight. The pretty leaves of a rose geranium are so strongly scented that two or three placed in the base of the cake pan will perfume the whole cake beautifully. A fluted pan makes the cake look particularly attractive.
