I met my friend Eve Knottenbelt in 1970 when I lived in Melbourne, where she ran a cooking school and catering business. Eve is a graduate of the Paris Cordon Bleu cooking school and this experience, as well as her innate cooking skills, makes her one of the best cooks I know. This slight variation on Eve’s recipe comes to my repertoire with gratitude from so many restaurant guests, and
