I’ve never liked Bloody Marys that come with more garnish than drink, so I garnish this simply. But the real treat of this cocktail I discovered by accident. When relatives were visiting, they requested Bloody Marys. We had no Bloody Mary mix, which is loaded with stuff I don’t like anyhow. But I had a can of tomatoes on hand and used them. Everyone remarked how fresh and clean it tasted. And so here it is, yet another kind of tomato sauce! This recipe will give you about 3 cups of juice; save any leftovers for a simple tomato sauce.
