In all the years of my drinking I sadly threw away the sloes from yet another finished bottle of sloe gin. I had to be sober to read Prue Coats’ lovely Poacher’s Cookbook and discover finally what to do with them. I no longer make sloe gin so I have to go around begging them off my friends!
