  • ½ pound broccoli

Method

  1. Trim the woody broccoli stem bottoms and discard. Cut the broccoli into florets, with some of the stalk on each piece. Place in a shallow baking dish; sprinkle with water and cover tightly with plastic wrap. For ½ pound broccoli (2 to 3 servings), microwave generally fqr 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. SUGAR SNAP PEAS Remove the strings (page 20). Place the peas in a sh
