Before adding the mushrooms, okra, etc., to the pot for Palm Nut Soup, in a separate bowl mix 1 cup of natural-style peanut butter with some of the soup broth to form a smooth paste, then stir it into the soup. Let boil for a few minutes before continuing with recipe. This version of the soup also goes well with Banku, Ga-style Kenkey, or hearty slices of bread.
