Peanut Butter Bread

I’ve heard tales that more peanut butter is consumed in Alaska and Hawaii than in Southern states, but I don’t believe a word of it. After all, virtually all peanut butter is made from roasted runner goobers grown in Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee, and in what other regions is the delectable goo used to make velvety soups, gravies, pound cakes, ice creams, and, indeed, a large variety of breads? I know one lady in Richmond, Virginia, who eats peanut butter bread smeared with honey or topp
