Another “composed” (i.e., made of mixed cooked things) salad, as naïve as Salade Argenteuil is sophisticated, brings together two American favorites. Children particularly like it and most adults find it tolerably good. Anyway, it’s a workable compromise at cookouts with kids yammering for hot dogs and grown-ups yearning for grilled lobster.
