These make a pleasant light supper dish (especially if it’s Sunday and there doesn’t seem to be much else in the refrigerator), or something rather different for Sunday breakfast. You will need either a small round flat baking dish or an old-fashioned china custard cup for each person; the flat dish for two eggs and the custard cup if they’re getting only one. Baked custard seems to have gone out of style (pity!) and thrift shops are a good place to find those nice old cups.
