Ingredients
- Jordan almonds ½ lb.
- fresh butter 2 oz.
- cayenne pepper and
Method
- Blanch the almonds.
- Wipe them dry.
- Put the butter into a frying-pan.
- Make it hot.
- Add the almonds.
- Fry till of a good brown colour.
- Drain on a hair sieve.
- Strew over cayenne pepper and salt and serve up hot, as a savoury.
