  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ pint double cream

Method

Beat egg yolks with 2 tablespoons sugar until fluffy and lemon-coloured. Whip cream until stiff; add rum and vanilla essence and whip until stiff again. Add more sugar to taste. Fold beaten egg yolks into whipped cream.
