  • 2 pounds rump steak
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns salt

Method

Crush peppercorns coarsely with a rolling pin or with a mortar and pestle. Sprinkle one side of steak with half the pepper, pressing it into the meat with the flat of your hand. Repeat with other side. Let steak stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to absorb flavours.

Pre-heat grill. Cook steak 3 to 4
