Ingredients

  • 6 ripe oranges
  • 6-8 dates, chopped
  • 6-8 blanched almonds, slivered

Method

Peel oranges, removing all pith, and slice crosswise. Place in a salad bowl with chopped dates and slivered almonds and flavour to taste with orange flower water or lemon juice and sugar.

Chill. Just before serving, sprinkle lightly with powdered cinnamon.
