  • rind and juice of 1 lemon

Method

Slice peeled and cored cooking apples into a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle the slices with lemon juice, grated lemon rind and brown sugar and dot with butter. Bake, uncovered, in a moderate oven (375°F. Mark 4) for 30 minutes, or until tender. Serve wit
