Jenny Liao’s grandson often requests this chicken soup. He likes the dried orange-red goji berries, also known as wolfberries or red medlar, which add a faint sweet fruitiness to the broth. The berries are also said to improve eyesight. Any part of the chicken, with or without bone, can be used to make this soup.
