Ingredients: 60 ml (2 fl oz / ¼ cup) maple syrup; 60 ml (2 fl oz / ¼ cup) plant milk, shop-bought or home-made (see recipe); 235 g (8 oz / 1½ cups) grated carrots; 1 teaspoon turmeric; 1 vanilla pod (bean), scraped; ½ teaspoon baking powder; ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda (baking soda); 160 ml (5 fl oz / ⅔ cup) Almond Milk, shop-bought or home-made; ½ teaspoon ground cloves; 160 g (5 oz / 1 cup) cashews, soaked for 2 hours, then drained; ½ cardamom pod; 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; 140 g (5 oz / 1 cup) Gluten-free Flour Mix; 5 dried apricots, chopped; berries and orange slices; 140 ml (5 fl oz / 1 cup) maple syrup
