PÁREK V ROHLÍKU ROUGHLY TRANSLATES AS “HOT DOG” OR LITERALLY AS “sausage in roll.” It consists of a sausage and condiments—usually just a squirt of ketchup and mustard—tucked into a hollowed-out roll rather than the center of a split bun. The roll, or rohlík, has a thick, crispy, chewy crust, similar to a baguette.

Ingredients

  • Rohlík
  • pork hot dog
  • yellow mustard
  • Ketchup

Method

Assembly

Get out a rohlík. Using a sharp knife or clean hands, create a tunnel in the center of the length of the bread. Simmer a pork hot dog as instructed. Squirt a bit of mustard and ketchup into the hollow of the roll and then place the hot dog inside.
