Although pulled pork can be an entire meal in itself, it also happens to be a delicious hot dog topping. Perfect for any barbecue-style dog, this pulled pork is moist and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • Oak wood chips, for grilling
  • 4 pounds bone-in trimmed pork butt
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Method

  1. Soak wood chips in water for 1 hour. Meanwhile, rub pork with oil, followed by a generous amount of Texas dry rub. Let sit covered at room temperature for 1 hour, or until meat comes to room temperature.
