This is a staple at the Hog Island Oyster Bars and was developed by Garret Hamner, a former retail manager.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup (55 g) brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon

Method

In a medium bowl, stir the brown sugar into the bourbon to dissolve. Add the butter, garlic, and chipotle chiles with their sauce and mix well.
