Method

In a small saucepan, combine the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, pimentón, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook while stirring, about 5 minutes. Use now or let cool, cover, and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Follow the instructions to top each shucked oyster on the half shell with 2 teaspoons or so of the sauce before grilling.
