  • 2 squares unsweetened cooking chocolate
  • 2 cups Basic Syrup
  • 1 tablesp


  1. Grate or chop the chocolate and combine with the syrup in the top of a double boiler. Heat over boiling water until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Alternatively, heat in a microwave using medium power until smooth. Stir often and watch carefully.
  2. Add the butter and mix well. Refrigerate and warm to serve over ice cream or other desserts.
