Usually one hears of a restaurant giving a loyal customer the recipe for one of their favorite dishes. When my wife and I had this delicious and unusual appetizer at a restaurant on the Italian Riviera, we discovered it was a loyal customer who had given the restaurant the recipe!

Method

  1. Bring 3 quarts water to a boil in a medium pot. Add 1 teaspoon salt and the vinegar, then add the shrimp. Cover the pot to bring the water back to a boil as quickly as possible. As so
