This is a light and fragrant summer pasta sauce. Use only fresh tomatoes here. If flavorful vine-ripe tomatoes are not available, use fresh plum tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound zucchini
  • 1 medium clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons

Method

  1. Cut the zucchini crosswise into 1½-inch-long pieces. Slice each piece lengthwise ¼ inch thick, then lengthwise again to make sticks.
  2. Fill a pot for the pasta with at least 6 quarts
